CELEBRATING UGANDAN ARCHITECTURE OVER THE YEARS

Organized by the Uganda Society of Architects and the Architects Registration Board

As Uganda's cities grow and evolve, the role of architecture in shaping equitable, resilient, and culturally rooted environments has never been more critical. This year's theme invites practitioners and stakeholders to examine how design can respond to rapid urbanisation, climate change, and the demand for inclusive public spaces — while honouring local identity and craftsmanship.

Where Vision Meets
Built Reality

The Uganda Society of Architects Symposium is the premier annual gathering for the built-environment community in Uganda. It brings together architects, engineers, urban planners, developers, policymakers, academics, and students for a day of rigorous dialogue, knowledge exchange, and networking.

Whether you are a seasoned professional, an emerging practitioner, or a student of the built environment, this symposium offers invaluable insights into the trends, technologies, and policies shaping our cities — and practical strategies for driving positive change.
